PASADA also works with over 700 community volunteers. The contribution that volunteers make to PASADA’s work is vital and we would not be able to reach as many people as we do without them. These volunteers collaborate with different departments in PASADA and have been trained in the different areas of focus:
- Community entry and education
- HIV and AIDS awareness raising
- Home-Based Care.
Some of the volunteers are PASADA clients and they have been trained in:
- Basic counseling skills
- ART and TB defaulter tracing at community level.
